Rhiza Editions: FAQS
When you come to the main Rhiza Reports page (https://your_company.rhizalytics.com/reports), it won't look much different; all of the report types are still available. However, if you click the icon for a Legacy Reports edition report -- for example, the Geographic report -- you might notice that the URL changes (https://your_company.legacy.rhizalytics.com/reports/geographic) and you are taken to a different server to work on your presentations.
To help you understand the implications of having two Rhiza editions, we've compiled some frequently asked questions below. If you don't see the answer to your question here, please contact your customer success advocate.
In each edition, the Presentations table looks just like it always has. However, it lists only those presentations created with the report or reports supported in the edition. For example, the Presentations table in the Legacy Reports edition will contain presentations created with the Geographic report or any other non-Research report supported by your company. It will not contain presentations created from the Research report.
If you search for a presentation that was created from a report tool that belongs to the other edition, you will see a message telling you the presentation wasn't found, and asking if you'd like to switch editions.
You also have the option to switch editions from this page.
In the following graphic, the Presentations tab shows that you are in the Rhiza for Research edition and provides a toggle to quickly switch to the Presentations tab in the other edition. In addition, you can see that all of the presentation in the table were created using the Research report type.

In each edition, the Data Management tab looks just like it always has. However, it lists only those datasets that can be used with the current edition.
It also allows you to toggle between editions.
In the following graphic, notice that the selected edition is Legacy Reports. Therefore, you can access Custom Geographies (a type of dataset available only for the Geographic report), as well as all of the datasets that have been uploaded for use with the Geographic report.

If you search for a dataset that isn't available in the current edition, you'll see a message telling you that the system couldn't find the dataset, and asking if you'd like to switch editions.
You can tell which Rhiza edition you're currently using in a few ways:
- Look at the Rhiza Edition toggle on the Presentation or Data Management tab. The current edition is highlighted in blue.
- Look at the URL. If you are using the Legacy Report version, the URL contains the word "legacy" in it.
- Note the types of presentations or datasets that are available.
The easiest way to switch between editions is to use the toggle available from the Presentations page or the Data Management page. When you switch editions, you'll be taken to the same page in the other edition (for example, if you used the toggle from the Data Management page in the Legacy Reports edition, you'll be taken to the Data Management page in the Rhiza for Research edition).

No. When you upload a dataset in one Rhiza edition, is it available only in that edition. If you want to use the dataset in both editions, you must upload it twice (once in each edition). The Upload a Dataset button makes it easy by prompting you to select the edition you want the dataset to belong to.

Yes. Any existing browser bookmarks that you have to the Legacy Reports edition Reports page (including any of the templates or express reports it contains), as well as any browser bookmarks you have to existing Legacy Report presentations will be redirected to the appropriate new URL.
Once your browser is redirected, make sure to update your bookmark to capture the new URL.
